The Wood brothers to perform at The Egg

The Egg has announced that The Wood Brothers will perform on Tuesday, January 30 at 7:30 PM as part of the 2017-18 American Roots & Branches concert series.

The Wood Brothers - guitarist/vocalist Oliver Wood, bassist Chris Wood and multi-instrumentalist Jano Rix - appear in support of their most recent recording - Live At The Barn - which follows 2015's critically acclaimed Paradise, which the band recorded at Dan Auerbach's Easy Eye studio in their adopted hometown of Nashville, TN. Hailed by Rolling Stone for songwriting "that hits both the heart and head" and praised by American Songwriter for its "spry, soulful folk-rock," the album debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and launched The Wood Brothers into the most successful year of their career, with performances everywhere from Bonnaroo to Red Rocks to Carnegie Hall. NPR's World Cafe raved that "there is so much warmth, soul and musicianship at a Wood Brothers show, it's no surprise that the band's audience keeps growing."

Tickets to the performance are $39.50, $34.50 and $29.50 are currently available to members of The Egg at The Egg Box Office at the Empire State Plaza and by telephone – 518-473-1845.
